NO SHOW THIS WEEK
Well as we stated previously, the show runs on support from you, our friends and producers. Without your support, we can’t keep quality up. That being said, sadly we had to 86 our HTML 5 player this past week. We’re now back to the flash player that everyone hated. It’s a temporary setback until we can find an alternative method for streaming live.

Moving on to other fares, this past Sunday was 8/25. That date holds a special place in my heart. It’s my moms birthday. We lost her back in December of 2011 but still celebrate her birthday every year by going out to eat. Due to me having to watch 4 kids on Sunday, we were unable to go so we’re going tonight (8/26). I’m sure you will all understand.
We’ve also determined that the LEGACY episodes were getting less play than anything we’ve put out so we’ll be stopping that immediately. There will be no episode dropped this week. We will be back next week though fully loaded.
Anyways, here’s what’s been going on this past week that we would have talked about on the show:

After the fly invasion of 2019, these little bastards decided to invade the bunker and take up residence in one of my Behringer U-Control boxes:

Anyways, after bombing the bunker with lovely chemicals, I think I thwarted their evil attempts at a takeover. I’m not a slob by any means. Just bad timing honestly.
Continuing on the Anti-APEX bandwagon, Their CEO finally spoke out and “supported” the developer’s response towards the player base but then stated that they shouldn’t feed the trolls. So much for heads rolling. We here at the Noob Shelter have decided to not even touch this shit of a game.
If you ever owned an XBOX with a Kinect, chances are Big Brother listened in. Reports came in early in the week that using trigger words with the Kinect would active the “listen” feature, but it would never stop listening afterward meaning Microsoft probably heard you asking your mom for more pizza rolls.
I’m personally excited about Mortal Kombat 11 especially now that they have announced the Joker, Spawn and The Terminator will be released as DLC.

Finally, I wanted to get back to the show. Listenership has dropped a bit and I want to get us back up. So we’re thinking about doing some giveaways. We had asked a question about what games you are all playing or what types of games. If you all could respond, we’ll be more than glad to start building some giveaways around that.
